At Natali Lukas Art, we ship original paintings and custom commissioned artwork worldwide. This policy outlines our shipping methods, timelines, and important information for international customers.


1. SHIPPING METHODS & PACKAGING

1.1 Standard Shipping

All paintings and artworks are carefully packed in paper and hard cardboard to ensure safe transit.

Each shipment includes a tracking number.

You will receive an email with tracking information once your item ships.

We provide photos of the packaging before shipment so you can see how your artwork is protected.

We track every shipment and send you a notification when your package arrives in your country.

1.2 Express Shipping

Available for additional cost.

UPS Express to United States: 6-10 business days.

Contact us for express shipping rates to other destinations.

Express shipping costs vary based on artwork size, weight, and destination.


2. SHIPPING TIMELINE

2.1 Ready-to-Ship Artwork

Original paintings in stock typically ship within 2-3 business days of order confirmation.

Drying time may be required for recently completed works.

2.2 Custom Commissioned Artwork Custom commissions require additional time before shipping:

Total Timeline: 1-6 weeks from deposit to shipment

Small orders: 1-2 weeks.

Large orders: 2-6 weeks.

Commission Process:

1. Sketch creation and approval: 1-3 business days.

2. Revisions (if needed): 1-3 business days per round.

3. Artwork creation: varies by size and complexity.

4. Final approval: you review photos of completed work.

5. Drying time (required before shipping):

a. Drawing: 2-3 days

b. Watercolor: 3 days

c. Oil paintings (small): 1-2 weeks

d. Oil paintings (large): 2-6 weeks

6. Packaging and shipment: 1-2 business days.


3. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

a. Destination country

b. Artwork size and weight

c. Shipping method selected (standard or express)

Gift wrapping available for additional cost (price depends on size and weight of artwork).


4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

4.1 Customs, Duties & Taxes

We ship internationally from Ukraine.

For shipments to the United States, we pay 10% tax in Ukraine.

Important: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or fees imposed by their destination country.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are beyond our control.

We recommend checking with your local customs office about potential charges before ordering.

4.2 Customs Documentation

All international shipments include proper customs declarations.

We provide all necessary documentation for customs clearance.

All artworks are declared as original artwork with accurate value.


5. TRACKING & DELIVERY

5.1 Tracking Information

Tracking number provided via email once shipped.

You can track your package through the carrier's website.

We monitor all shipments and provide updates when packages reach your country.

5.2 Delivery

Signature may be required upon delivery (typically required for large artworks).

If you're not available, the carrier will leave a notice with pickup instructions.

Packages are typically held at local facility for 5-10 business days before being returned.

5.3 Delivery Issues

Contact us immediately if tracking shows delivery but you haven't received your package.

Report any damage to packaging upon receipt - take photos before opening.

Inspect artwork immediately and contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues.


6. RISK OF LOSS

Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

We carefully package all items and use reliable carriers.

We track all shipments to ensure safe delivery.

Insurance is included for painting shipment.


7. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We ship to most countries in the world with some exceptions (we do not ship our products to countries with limited delivery capabilities and countries under international sanctions).

Some remote locations may have limited shipping options or extended delivery times.

8. UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to incorrect address, refused delivery, or unclaimed package:

a. You will be notified immediately

b. Reshipping fees will apply

c. Original shipping costs are non-refundable

d. Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate.


9. DELAYS

While we strive for timely delivery, shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

Customs processing

Government policy changes

Weather conditions

Carrier delays

International holidays

Remote locations

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs authorities.


10. GIFT WRAPPING

Gift wrapping is available for small and medium artworks at additional cost (price varies based on size and weight).
